One essential spiritual discipline that every Christian should cultivate is the habit of daily Bible reading. Despite its importance, many of us find it challenging to establish this routine in our daily lives. It’s interesting to note that it only takes a small amount of daily reading to complete the Bible in a year – about 4-5 pages. Why do we resist making this a part of our daily routine? Perhaps we are easily distracted by other activities or feel like we don’t have the time. Whatever the reason, we should strive to make daily Bible reading a priority, as it can have a profound impact on our spiritual growth and understanding of God’s will for our lives.

This post will help get you started! For week 1, we will read the complete book of Mark. It is the shortest of the four Gospels and tells the essential parts of the story of Jesus, including his life, death, resurrection, and ascension.
