Joel’s Prophecies: A Call to Repentance and Hope

Joel was a minor prophet in Israel during a time of drought during a locust plague. In this short book, he starts with a call for the people to mourn and lament over this disaster and begs the people to return to the Lord. When we think of Mary and Joseph’s faithfulness, it can be wondered how much of this was passed on through Ruth.
