Welcome to week 5 of our exhilarating journey through the Bible in a year! This week marks a significant transition as we bid farewell to the book of Acts and embark on a new chapter with the profound verses of Psalms.
Exploring the Concluding Chapters of Acts: Paul’s Journeys and Arrest
The book of Acts will conclude with Paul’s three major missionary journeys, as well as his arrest and journey to Rome. Paul will start or make contact with many of the churches with whom he will continue to correspond with the letters recorded in the Epistles: 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, and 2 Thessalonians.

A Survey: If you were a missionary, which continent would you choose?
Entering the Lyrical World of Psalms: A Journey of Wisdom and Reflection
We will then begin the book of Psalms, which is a book of poetry and music. These first 7 psalms are a mixture of wisdom, kingship, and lament. As you work your way through the Bible, consider memorizing the entirety of Psalm 1. It gives a lot of encouragement regarding the importance of reading your Bible with the intent of learning to become righteous.
